We offer monthly, seasonal walking sensory meditations in the beautiful natural settings of Washtenaw County’s Parks. So much of Autumn is about letting go - trees let go of their leaves, flowers let go of their petals, animals let go of the lazy, summer days, birds let go of their summer homes and fly south. Join us on an afternoon hike where we will let go of our daily stresses, enjoy the changing seasons, and immerse ourselves in quiet, meditative reflection. Mindful Forest Hike Mini-Retreat
Connecting with the Elements, Part II: Air Connection
DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED
This immersive experience offers hikers a deeper dive into the practice of sensory meditation than we usually offer in our monthly WCPR hike series. Participants will explore practices that cultivate a greater sense of grounding and connection to the earth as we hike through the park’s trails. Activities include the sensory meditation hike, guided reflection, discussion group and journaling exercises. Join us to explore yourself, your community and the beauty of the summer season.
Facilitators: Elle Bogle, naturalist, and Julie Woodward, mindful yoga teacher and wellness coach.
