This 6-week yoga and meditation course offers a transformative journey toward cultivating resilience, heart-brain coherence, and nervous system regulation. Over six sessions, participants will explore specific yoga postures and mindful practices designed to enhance heart rate variability, promote emotional balance, and foster inner strength. Drawing from the teachings of Buddhist meditation, this course integrates body, mind, and breath to cultivate an authentic sense of calm and mental clarity. Through mindful movement and focused breathwork, students will develop the tools to build resilience, support emotional health, and activate the body’s natural capacity for healing.
Each week, participants will engage in a blend of gentle yoga postures, breath exercises, and meditation practices that focus on the integration of body and mind. The course highlights practices that enhance self-awareness, regulate the nervous system, and deepen connection to the present moment. By focusing on the principles of heart-brain coherence and resilience, this course offers a holistic approach to overcoming stress and anxiety. Whether new to yoga or seasoned practitioners, students will leave with practical tools to enhance their emotional well-being, foster mindfulness, and cultivate lasting calm in daily life.
Course is free, donations welcome. Contact Julie at jawh@comcast.net to register
